Ever pick up a nice bottle of wine for that special vacation dinner you are preparing? Bet you have. What if your rental kitchen does not have a corkscrew? You can make a real mess of that bottle trying to open it without one!
There are plenty of fancy corkscrews out there, but this one will open a bottle as well as any and better than most.

Use the little knife blade to either cut the foil on the bottle around the rim, or just slice up on the foil and pull it off.
Twist the screw into the cork. All the way in. Try to keep it centered in the cork. Then use the shorter lever to begin pulling out the cork. Switch to the longer lever when you have the cork part way out. Voilà!
